It is believed that fan favorites Ann Woll and Elden Henson will not feature in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series, and people on Twitter are not happy.
Daredevil was a Marvel fan favorite that ran on Netflix from 2015 until 2018, that told the tale of Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer turned vigilante who fights crime at nightfall.
While the series was originally axed after three seasons, the Marvel show is set for a revamp on Disney+ in a new series called Daredevil: Born Again.
How Breaking Bad Pulled Off An Impossibly Perfect Finale
While this may be exciting news for fans of the show, the rumored omission of two stars of the Netflix series, Ann Woll and Elden Henson, has ruffled some feathers online.
Ann Woll and Elden Henson rumored to be excluded from new Daredevil series
According to reports from The Hollywood Reporter, things are set to look rather different from the original series in Daredevil: Born Again.
Several stars of the Netflix series are set to appear, but Woll and Henson, who played Karen Page and Foggy Nelson, respectively, look set to miss out on appearing in Born Again.
Karen and Foggy’s characters are known for their on-screen chemistry, and quickly became fan favorites during the initial seasons of the show.
It is unclear at the time of writing whether Woll and Henson’s characters will be recast by other actors, or if the characters of Karen and Foggy will be scrapped from the show altogether.
Twitter users bemoan ‘bizarre’ decision to exclude Woll and Henson
While Daredevil fans were happy about the news of the show returning, the rumors of Woll and Henson’s exits have not gone down too well online.
Marvel enthusiast Matt Ramos led the complaints on Twitter, writing: “Foggy and Karen are so essential to the DNA of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, not including them at all in Born Again especially in an 18 episode season, is a bizarre decision.”

Other rumors about Daredevil: Born Again
Thankfully for Daredevil fans, it doesn’t all seem to be bad news.
The celebrated Jon Bernthal looks set to reprise his role as Frank Castle, alongside key characters like Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, and Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, the protagonist of the series.
As mentioned in Ramos’ tweet, the series is set to be 18 episodes long, a rather stark difference from the typical six-nine episode season usually employed by Marvel.
At the time of writing, there are no official filming or release dates in place for Daredevil: Born Again, though it is rumored to be penciled in for release in Spring 2024.
