Here is everything we know…
Mark Cavendish shares terrifying robbery news
Mark Cavendish shared a shocking update with fans on Twitter on December 8th, stating that he had been attacked by robbers in his own home.
On November 27th, shortly after leaving intensive care, Cavendish’s home was broken into by four “masked and armed” men. The cyclist said that they threatened his wife and children and violently attacked him.
Cavendish said: “At knifepoint, they proceeded to ransack our belongings.”
Two watches of high sentimental value were taken, but Cavendish explained that “the sense of security, safety, privacy, and dignity” that was taken away from his family was the biggest loss of all.
Who is Mark Cavendish’s wife?
Mark Cavendish’s wife is Peta Todd, a writer, presenter, influencer, and model. Todd’s career as a model began when she was just 18 years old, something she says afforded her many opportunities.
It is through her job as a model that she met husband Mark in Los Angeles.
Todd’s website states: “Whilst modelling, I often debated on women’s issues at universities, including Durham and the Oxford Union and also appeared on News Night.”
You may also recognise her voice from radio, as Todd had regular presenting roles on TalkSport and Absolute Radio.
As a writer, Todd has written a cookery column for Fabulous daily in The Sun and her current role as a Fabulous Ambassador involves a monthly newspaper spread in The Sun Newspaper.
