Jason Garrett is the 8th head coach to be signed at Dallas Cowboy football team. He is widely known as the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants of the NFL.
His contract at Dallas began on the 5th of January 2011, and ended early January 2020.
Going deeper, Jason became the first player to ever emerge as a head coach in the history of Dallas Cowboy. According to Dallascowboys Official Website, the Pennsylvania born football star in six and a half years as head coach at the Cowboys, boasts of a 59-48 overall record, including playoffs.
Before assuming the position and status of the head coach at Dallas, Garrett was both the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach of the Cowboys. This status lasted for a while till the serving coach at that time, Wade Phillips was fired by the teams administration, thereby paving way for Jason in late 2010 as the head coach.
Born on 28 March 1966 to the family of Jim and Jane Garrett. The Abington born went to prep school at University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio, and was very good in playing football, basketball, and baseball. While a senior in school, he was touted to have won All-League honors as a quarterback and safety.
His father, Jim Garrett, was an assistant coach for the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, and Cleveland Browns and head coach of the Houston Texans of the World Football League and at Columbia University. From 1987 to 2004, he served as a scout for the Dallas Cowboys.
In the college, Garrett was a football quarterback at Princeton University, he did play for the Cowboys, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Miami Dolphins before now.
His kindergarten academic days were completed through second grade at Holy Cross school in Rumson, New Jersey. In 1984, he graduated from University School.

Brill Garrett is the former footballers wife and previous coach of Dallas Cowboys. Before she married the talented coach in 1994, she was popularly known and addressed as Brill Aldridge. The 55 years old was born on 8 December 1985 into the family of Judy and Jeffrey Aldridge.
Professionally, she is a Lawyer and apart from being a homemaker, she has equally practiced law as reports posits. Brill during her schooling days, attended Central High School in Hinsdale, Illinois from 1980 to 1984. But she was trained in Illinois together with her brother, Jeff Aldridge.
Brill and Jason got to know each other while they were still in the university at Princeton. It happened that they met in one of their Geology classes during their freshman days as undergraduates of course.
In Brill’s exact words,
“We would have a lab once a week and the lab was on Thursdays from one until four and so I, of course, noticed him early on. I realized he left the first lab early, and the next week he left lab early, and then the next week… so I thought, what is going on? I gathered my courage and I asked him, ‘Why are you always leaving lab early?’ And he looked at me like, ‘Well, don’t you know I have baseball practice?’”
From the look of things, it appeared Brill admired to be with Jason, this was after crushing on him, she picked up the Courage to approach his feature Husband.
The two love birds graduated from Princeton together in the year 1988.

Mrs Garrett, who is usually touted as a literacy advocate, teamed up with Former First Lady Laura Bush to host the 2018 Dallas/Ft Worth Celebration of Reading on Tuesday, November 6th all in Dallas.

Jim and Jane Garrett are the parents of Jason Garrett. Yet, not much is known about his mother, but his late father, Jim was a longtime Cowboys scout who died after spending 87 years on earth.
When he was alife, Jim Garrett originally joined the Cowboys as a scout in 1968 and was a scout or coach as you may call it for 36 years in the NFL.
He ended his successful career by working with the the Cowboys’ Northeast area scout for 17 years. Just before that he had carried out his assistant coaching skills with the New York Giants, Cleveland and New Orleans Saints.
While he was a college scout, Jim wrote the original scouting report for quarterback Troy Aikman, who was as at the time selected with the first overall pick in the 1989 NFL preliminaries.
