Introducing the viral image generator, the Dall.E Mini
The Dall.E Mini is an image generator which uses artificial intelligence to create a series of pictures based on prompts entered in by users.
Essentially it can visualise you’re most bizarre concepts or scenarios in a photo grid format.
The Dall.E Mini is based on the OpenAI devised software GPT-3 and was initially created in 2021.
The generator’s name is said to reference both surrealist artist Salvador Dali and the loveable robot Wall.E.
This week it seems to have grown in popularity across social media as it has many have shared their creations online.
How to use the Dall.E Mini
Those looking to try the viral Dall.E Mini generator out for themselves can find it here.
Once on the page, users will be asked to type a prompt of their choice. For this you can go as crazy or as tame as you want. You can experiment with different art styles, people or characters, as well as scenarios.
After entering your instruction into the generator, you then click run and wait for your six-by-six grid masterpiece to be created.
It may take a moment for a result to be displayed, after which you can either screenshot the page and share with friends or try again with another prompt. (Credit: Screenshot from DALL·E mini (https://huggingface.co/spaces/dalle-mini/dalle-mini)
