Daniel Romanchuk is an American paralympic athlete.
Having participated in his first track meet in six, he competes primarily in wheelchair racing events.
Daniel is also a gold medalist in the men’s 400 meters T54 event and a bronze in the men’s marathon T54 event.
Aside from Paralympics, he also competes in Marathons. He is the winner of the Chicago Marathon. On Monday, he won the 2022 Boston Marathon Wheelchair.

Daniel Romanchuk’s parents, Stephan and Kimberly Romanchuk, are proud of his win in the Boston Marathon Wheelchair race.
The event was on Monday, 18 April 2022. Likewise, he won the same event in 2019, becoming the youngest men’s wheelchair champ at 20. Before him, no one had won the wheelchair race since 1993.
With the withdrawal of defending champion Switzerland’s Marcel Hug, Daniel won the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo with a time of 1 hour and 26 minutes.
Moreover, he won the New York City Marathon’s wheelchair event at 19 years old, becoming the race’s youngest winner in its history.
Daniel’s parents must be really proud of their son, as he achieved all these achievements despite being born with Spinal Bifida. His mother was the one who encouraged him to race when he was 5. She features in most of his posts.
Moreover, they enrolled him in an adaptive sports program associated with the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Baltimore. Their efforts paid off for real.
