Jack Kennedy’s Ginto Has Died After Injury In Cheltenham
Cheltenham’s horse Ginto has died on Friday, March 18, 2022. He is the third horse to die during this years’ event.
As stated in the Daily Record, the latest race was marred by an injury to Ginto. He went wrong as they headed to the last.
The horse had sustained a fatal injury following the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle, reports the Racing TV.
The tweet stated: “Incredibly sad news that Ginto sustained a fatal injury in the Albert Bartlett – our thoughts are with connections. A star of the future taken far too soon”.
The news has also been shared on Cheltenham’s official Twitter handle which has written: “Rest In Peace Ginto” and a tribute picture.
