Martin Scorsese started making short films in 1963. In 1967, he made ‘The Big Shave.’ In the same year, he made his first feature film called ‘I Call First.’ In 1970, he became the editor and assistant director of ‘Woodstock.’
In 1972, he made the film ‘Boxcar Bertha’ which was produced by Roger Corman. This was followed by making the film ‘Mean Streets.’ In 1974, he directed the film ‘Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore.’ This was followed by ‘Italianamerican,’ ‘Taxi Driver,’ ‘New York, New York,’ ‘American Boy,’ and ‘The Act.’
