Margo Cathleen Harshman was born on March 4, 1986 in San Diego, California. Her nationality is American and she has European ancestry (Swiss, German, Danish, Norwegian, English, Irish, Scottish and French). The actress spent her formative years in different parts of California including San Diego, La Costa and Orange County. She also attended several schools such as La Costa Elementary, Hewes Middle School and Foothill High School. On the big screen, Margo Harshman has appeared in films such as Simon Says, Rise: Blood Hunter, College Road Trip, Keith, Pretty Little Devils, Inside and Sorority Row.Sorority Row is a 2007 horror film about a bunch of sisters who conspire to get revenge on a guy who cheated on his own. However, their plans go awry when the guy mistakenly murders his friend who is pretending to be dead. In the film, actresses such as Carrie Fisher and Harshman played the role of one of the students named Chugs.
Margo Harshman’s personal life (ex-husband and divorce)
Margo Harshman comes from a family of six. Her father’s name is David Harshman while her mother’s name is Janelle Louis née Sorenson. Her mother was late as she died in 2014 after a two-decade battle with breast cancer. The actress also has two brothers, Daniel and Davielle, and a sister named Allison. She is also related to Jack Harshman (the late MLB pitcher) and Marv Harshman (the late college basketball coach).
Margo Harshman was previously married to Austen Hooks, a Texas A&M University alum, and he majored in electrical engineering. He now has a career in repairing classic electronic musical instruments and has been dubbed Amp-Wiz. There is no detailed history of how Harshman and Hooks met, but what is known is that they tied the knot in 2017. The couple’s marriage lasted just over a year and they separated in October 2018. The marriage produced no children and Harshman was the party filing for divorce. In their filing, they asked the court to allow them to retain ownership of their individual properties.
