Born on February 10, 1995, Lexi grew up amongst her two brothers, Nicholas Thompson and Curtis Thompson, who are also professional golfers.
Lexi was home-schooled and recently had her graduation.
She became the youngest golfer ever to qualify to play in the U.S. Women’s Open at age 12.
After turning pro in 2010, at age 15, Lexi was crowned the youngest-ever winner of an LPGA tournament; and the following year, she became the second-youngest winner of a Ladies European Tour event, at the Dubai Ladies Masters.
Lexi’s first major championship win came in 2014 when she was 19, and she became the second youngest LPGA golfer to win a major.
