Jacob VanZant missing update

After a car was discovered, a recovery diving and rescue team called off their search for missing Jacob VanZant, according to the Lodi Police Department in California.

In Lodi, California, on February 17, this year, Jacob vanished after purchasing meals at Shangri La Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar.

Since then, the 24-year-old Stockton man has been listed as missing, prompting searches by the Lodi and Stockton police departments as well as other organizations.

Adventures With Purpose have put an end to their search efforts for missing Jacob.

In a Facebook post last weekend, the group confirmed they found a 2004 white Honda Pilot at the end of Eight Mile Road between Lodi and Stockton in California.

The group claimed that they believed remains found in the car to be those of Jacob Vanzant, the missing 24-year-old man out of Stockton, CA.

In the post, Adventures With Purpose added that they found the vehicle 18 feet underwater and 150 feet from the shore.

What have the police said?

Lodi Police Department has been notified after the rescue team found the white Honda Pilot and his body remains in the vehicle.

The police department said that they were aware of the remains in the vehicle but that they wouldn’t comment until a medical examiner has identified the body.

According to videos on YouTube, Jacob’s family had asked the specialized recovery dive team to commence the search efforts.

Jacob disappeared in February

Jacob was reported missing by his girlfriend and family after picking up food at Shangri La Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar in Lodi in February.
