UK Radio Aid was a charity event held in the UK on January 17, 2005, to raise money for the DEC appeal for the Asian tsunami victims. The event was a twelve-hour radio show that was played on 268 radio stations and heard by more than 20 million people. Tarbuck hosted the show from 16:00 to 18:00 with Johnny Vaughan, who she had worked with on Big Breakfast.
