Ian James Poulter is an English professional golfer who is a member of the world’s top two professional golf tours, the U.S.-based PGA Tour and the European Tour.
Poulter has previously been ranked as high as number 5 in the world rankings.
The highlights of Poulter’s career to date have been his two World Golf Championship wins at the 2010 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship and the 2012 WGC-HSBC Champions.
Poulter is the touring professional for Woburn Golf and Country Club.
Poulter is married to his wife Katie Poulter (m. 2007) and the couple have four children; Luke Poulter, Aimee-Leigh Poulter, Lilly-Mai Grace Poulter, and Joshua Poulter.
Poulter’s wife informed him that they were pregnant with their third child, Lily-Mai, straight after he finished second at The Open in 2008 – the last time the tournament was held at Royal Birkdale.
Poulter, his wife and children live in Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Florida.
Poulter also has a home in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
