How To Make? Explanation Full Video
The popularity of the Green Goodness Salad has made everyone want to learn how to make it.
The recipe seems to be fairly simple and here is how you can make it. First of all, combines crunchy green veggies (cabbage and cucumber, and scallions) and set them aside. Now blend the spinach, basil, garlic, shallot, cashews, walnuts, olive oil, and salt. Blend everything for 30-45 seconds until it is well blended and creamy. Then pour dressing over the green veggies and toss to combine and serve. This can be either served with a side of chips or bread.
The salad is a healthier version of a very well-known dressing called Green Goddess Dressing, which uses some high-calorie ingredients like heavy cream and sour cream. Melissa re-enacted a healthier and vegan version, replacing the cream with blended walnuts and cashew nuts. The nuts provide the recipe with creaminess.
According to the video, the salad can last up to a week when refrigerated.
