Brianna Do, a professional golfer, is the daughter of Caucasian parents Max and Phuong Do. She finished 12th in the 2022 Lotte Championship on the LPGA tour.

She has participated in the LGPA tour for the past seven years in a row now. Brianna also competed in the 2022 Lotte Championship, finishing 12th. However, Hyo Joo Kim of the Republic of Korea won the championship.
Golfer Brianna Do Parents Are Her Greatest Inspiration
Golfer Brianna Do was born to her parents, Max and Phuong in Long Beach, California. She has always considered her parents to be her greatest inspiration, as she states that her interest in golf stems directly from her father, Max.
Inspired by her golfer father, she began playing golf at the age of eight. She graduated from UCLA in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and began her professional career.
According to her bio in superstition mountain, from 2012 through 2015, she spent most of her time on the Symetra Tour. In 2015, she finally earned her full LPGA membership by placing in the top ten on the Symetra season-ending money list.
From 2016 until the present, Brianna has spent the majority of her time on the LPGA. She finished 15th in Indy Women in Tech Championship Driven by Group 1001 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Brianna also mentions that when she is not golfing, she likes to read novels and watch Netflix.
Brianna Do set a career-high last week at the Lotte Championship, finishing in a tie for 12th place after qualifying on Sunday. She made her sixth appearance in Hawaii since re-entering the LPGA.
“I believe it was a more difficult course than last year, and it’s probably my favorite track out of the three that we’ve played (at the Lotte Championship),” Do said.
She would have qualified for the DIO Implants LA Open and received important points in the Race to the CME Globe if she had finished in the top-10 at the Lotte.

Golfer Brianna Do’s Father Max Occasionally Caddies Her
Max caddies for his daughter, Briannas Do occasionally, as he did at the season-opening West Coast tournaments, generally with a dash of superstition.
He was one year out of cancer treatments when Do won the 2011 USGA Women’s Public Links Championship. In the tournament, he wore the same shirt while caddying during the last three days to offer good luck.
After immigrating from Vietnam Max started working in a restaurant in South Carolina before moving to Ohio, where he discovered golf. He then relocated to California where he met his wife, Phuong.
As time passed, he became so enamored with golf that he intended to go golfing the morning after his wedding.
Phuong was so annoyed that she awoke in the middle of the night and hid the golf clubs beneath the car’s back tire. Max noticed the clubs before backing over them the next morning but decided it would be best to stay put for the wedding.
We can understand where Brianna got her passion and determination for golf now.
Golfer Brianna Do’s Mother Phuong Immigrated US From Vietnam In The Early 1980s
Both Brianna Do’s father, Max, and her mother Phuong were originally from Vietnam and they migrate to the US in the early 1980s. She is believed to be Caucasian, yet she holds an American nationality.
Now, you may be clear about her family background and Originality. However, netizens often consider her father to be Filipino, but according to ESPN Tour, he is Vietnamese.
Furthermore, Do is not only her parents’ kid, but she also has two siblings, a brother, and a sister. According to her Instagram, she is also dating her boyfriend, Eric Nuxol.

During her interview with ESPN, Do stated, “I think I’m the only Vietnamese golfer on the Epson Tour or the LPGA.” “A few are in Asia, and a few are at college.” I’d like to play full-time on the LPGA Tour and then give back by starting a junior program in Vietnam.”
