Ms. Faith, according to court records released today, utilized two fraudulent email accounts to connect with Mr. Lopez. She impersonated her own spouse and one of her friends in order to deceive Mr. Lopez into believing that her husband was physically and sexually attacking her.
Ms. Faith even used the internet to find stock photographs of injuries and attached them to her emails. In the days after the murder, the duo exchanged several text conversations discussing removing the sticker from Mr. Lopez’s truck.
“Ms. Faith’s alleged murder-for-hire plan was both heinous and calculating.” “She preyed on her boyfriend’s protective instincts and his wallet to persuade him to assassinate her spouse,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Prerak Shah.
Mr. Lopez was apprehended in Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, on January 11, 2021. The.45 caliber pistol used to murder Jamie Faith was discovered inside a satchel at Mr. Lopez’s home by law enforcement agents.
