C. J. Gardner-Johnson is an American football safety for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He played college football at Florida and was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
As a true freshman at Florida, Gardner-Johnson appeared in all 14 games, making starts in the final 7 games of the season. During the 2017 Outback Bowl, Gardner-Johnson had 2 tackles and 2 interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown, he was named the MVP of the Outback bowl.
