On April 26th 2021, BTS took to Twitter to announce their second English language song, an upcoming single called “Butter.”
The group shared a bright yellow graphic, showing a cartoon stick of butter melting across the screen, captioning it “Butter.”
The tweet hasn’t given much away to fans, who are anxiously awaiting the release of the song.
Just last week, BTS announced that they had signed on as house ambassadors at Louis Vuitton, stating that it was “truly an exciting moment” for them.
BTS Butter release date
BTS’ upcoming single “Butter” will be released on May 21st at 5am BST.
In a press release, the song is described as “a dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS.”
Butter is the second English language song from BTS, following their smash hit Dynamite which was released last year in 2020.
The cover art for the single consists of a yellow cartoon cube of butter slowly melting across the screen, which doesn’t give much away about the song to fans.
