Bobby Shmurda has been released from prison, and he got a special homecoming as Quavo picked him up with a private jet.
In January of this year, the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision’s inmate lookup noted that Bobby Shmurda, has a conditional release date scheduled for today, Feb. 23.
Ahead of Shmurda’s much-celebrated release from prison, Quavo informed fans of his plans to “personally” pick up the ”Hot Nigga’‘ hitmaker.
The Migos group member has made good on his promise going by videos and photos shared on social media which showed both of them coming down from a private jet.
A photo showed Bobby Shmurda holding a welcome kit aboard the jet with a friend and some ladies.

On the eve of his release, Shmurda shared a quick message for his fans: “Thank you for remaining loyal and for riding this six year sentence out with me,” he said in an Instagram post. “I love you all and look forward to seeing you soon.” He had also posted a five-minute clip from King of New York starring Christopher Walken as drug lord Frank White.
The “Hot N—a” rapper has been serving time since Dec. 2014, when he was initially charged with conspiracy to murder, weapons possession and reckless endangerment.
He was sentenced to seven years in prison after accepting a deal to plead guilty to 4th-degree conspiracy and 2nd-degree criminal weapons possession.
The Manhattan Supreme Court sentencing was characterized by drama, with Pollard reportedly saying,
“I was forced to take this sentence, I did not want to take this sentence. I was forced by my attorney to take this plea.”
