Early Life & Education
On October 22, 1992, 21 Savage was born in Newham, London, to a Haitian father and a Dominican mother. His father was a crack dealer. His mother, Heather Carmillia Joseph, raised him with his six sisters and four brothers after relocating to America.
He was born to Heather Carmillia Joseph (mother) and Kevin Cornelius Emmons (father). He has two brothers: TM1way, a musical artist, and Quantivayus Joseph, and two sisters: Jayda Davis and Kyra Davis.
21 Savage‘s life had been characterized by violence and criminality since he spent his formative years on the town’s seedy streets. He was expelled from Stone Mountain Middle School in the seventh grade after bringing a gun to defend himself from bullies.

Career
21 Savage began seeking a route out of the streets after growing weary of his existence as a criminal. He asked Metro Boomin, a record producer he had known for years, whether he could help him start a career as a rapper. Because Metro Boomin was intrigued, 21 Savage‘s debut mixtape, The Slaughter Tape, was shortly made available.
He was included in the 2016 Freshman Class by renowned hip-hop publication XXL. Slaughter King, his second mixtape, was released. On July 15, 2016, his debut EP, Savage Mode, which also featured Metro Boomin, was made available. He received widespread recognition, and it peaked at number 44 on the Billboard 200.
The song “X” achieved platinum, which included Future, a megastar rapper.
