In yet another misidentification case, a police officer named Mark Hanneman shoots at the wrong man during an apartment raid in downtown Minneapolis.
According to Minneapolis police, a man holding a handgun while police were executing a search warrant was fatally shot by one of their officers. The bodycam video of the deadly encounter was released Thursday night which has gone viral on Twitter.
According to the ktsp, the incident took place at 6:48 am on the seventh-floor apartment of Bolero Flats apartments, 117 South Marquette Avenue. And, according to the interim police Chief Amelia Huffman, the search was executed by the Minneapolis SWAT team.
The Swat team carried out the warrant on behalf of the St.Paul Police Department for the homicide investigation.

According to the news, Mark Hanneman was the former Hutchison officer, who is responsible for fatally shooting Amir Locke.
Mark used to work as a full-time police officer at Hutchinson Police Services. He was assigned to the station on March 21, 2012, and served till September 12, 2015. Similarly, he then was assigned on a part-time basis from July 25, 2017, to March 24, 2019, as per crowriver.
Hanneman was part of the Minneapolis SWAT team that executed a search warrant on downtown Minneapolis. And, during the raid, he killed a 22-year-old Amir Locke. As per Minnesota, Amir was shot twice in the chest and once in the wrist.
Activists have denounced the use of force and “no-knock” warrant, claiming that Locke grabbed his handgun to defend himself. The police shooting has been trending all over the internet as of now.

The bodycam video where Mark Hanneman can be seen firing at Amir Locke has been circulating all over the internet, especially on Twitter.
The Swat team can be seen breaking into the apartment using a fob key and upon entering the apartment, we can see Amir Locke sleeping on a couch.
Once they appeared near him, Amir picked up his handgun and it was when the police officer Mark fired three shots at Locke. In just a matter of a second, the whole incident took the life of a 22-year-old.
