The spiritual meaning behind Wolf Moon revealed
As per Angelica Balance, the spiritual meaning behind January’s Wolf Moon depicts courage and inner strength to make tough decisions.
Wolves are known to be courageous animals that are not afraid to take risks. Given that it is the beginning of a new year, several changes are bound to take place in your life and there will be moments when you will have to make tough choices.
The Wolf Moon is a time that brings in positive energy and allows you to dive deep into your emotions to understand what’s best for you. It is also the time for you to be confident about yourself and make those tough choices by keeping yourself as a priority.
Why is it called Wolf Moon?
As per the outlet, January’s full moon is known as the Wolf Moon because this is usually the time when the howls of the wolves are heard.
Amy Nieskens of the Old Farmer’s Almanac further explained this by saying: “This Full Moon appeared when wolves would howl in hunger outside of Native American villages. The association of wolves and the Moon appears in folklore all around the world, including Scandinavian, German and Native American mythology.”
This year you will be able to view this full moon on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 6:08 PM EST.
