Wizkid and Davido tour might be coming our way: ‘Save your coins!’

Wizkid and fellow Nigerian artist Davido may be touring together sometime soon, according to a recent IG post by the singer. 

The Essence hitmaker teased fans of possible upcoming shows alongside Davido to his millions of followers on Instagram earlier today (January 18).

Fans of the two performers are understandably excited with reactions to the potential Wizkid X Davido tour having since taken over social media timelines and feeds.

A Wizkid and Davido tour might be coming our way soon

Wizkid has teased fans on Instagram that he may be hitting the road alongside fellow Nigerian artist Davido.

On Wednesday (January 18), in a post to his 16.2 million followers on his IG stories, Wizkid appeared to announce a joint tour with Davido as he urged fans to “save” up their money.

In the post, the 32-year-old singer quipped: “Davido [a]nd I [are] going on tour! Save your coins!” Although, Davido does not appear to have shared anything related to WizKid’s post on his social media pages as of yet.

Nether the less, WizKid fans have since shared screenshots of his post across social media as they share their excitement over the possible upcoming shows:

Wizkid hints joint tour could follow his MLLE shows

As well as hinting at a potential tour with Davido, Wizkid also signaled to fans that it could follow his current More Love Less Ego tour. 

In the same post announcing the possible tour on his Instagram stories, the singer teased it will come “after” his “MLLE tour.”

His More Love Less Ego tour follows his recent album of the same name, which dropped in November last year. The artist confirmed he would be touring his new music the same month, which sees him perform across North America this spring.

Wizkid’s North American shows are set to kick off at the start of March and conclude the following month in April after 20 shows.

The artist also recently seemed to extend the MLLE tour further as he announced he would be performing across the pond in the UK in London, however, a date is yet to be announced.

Fans are ready to snap up tickets 

As many share their excitement over the possible tour on social media, it’s clear fans of the two are ready to see both Wizkid and Davido perform alongside each other.

Some dedicated fans online have even started thinking about bagging tickets for the potential shows.

Joking about the extreme lengths they would go to in order to buy tickets, one fan on Twitter joked they would sell their car, while another added they would pay up to $10,000 for a ticket.
