Blessing Okoro, a popular Nigerian relationship coach, has given her opinion on why most African men find it difficult to forgive cheating partners.

In a recent post on her verified social media profile on the prominent social media network, Instagram, Blessing revealed her sentiments.

The text of her post is as follows:

“A lot of African guys don’t forgive adultery because they regard women as a trophy, object, or reward that they bought or got, not because they love you.” They don’t forgive cheating since they believe the item they purchased was used by someone else. For many Africans, women are regarded as simply property.

The following are some of the responses to the post:

spencersparks18 – What do you expect when a woman is acquired with a bride prize and other unneeded cash items? Aside from that, women are overrated, much like the African Cup of Nations.

osagielaw – It’s more complicated than that. A woman who cheats is no longer physically, emotionally, or mentally in the marriage. She may also give you another man’s child to raise for the rest of your life. A man can cheat on his wife and still be completely devoted to his family.

daughter of yahweh24 – Facts: Most people see women as property rather than humans, which is also true in my own country.

skings btc – Are you encouraging people to cheat or something?
Sharap speaks in a paw paw tone.

exegesis eddie – No man loves a cheating woman, not just in Africa, but in Europe as well.
