The funeral for Prince Philip, the longest serving royal consort in British history, will be on April 17th at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Only thirty guests will be in attendance at Prince Philip’s funeral, and among them is Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the husband of Princess Beatrice.
The head of the UK’s armed forces said the funeral will have Prince Philip’s “fingerprints all over it” and it “reflects his wide interests and his attention to detail.”
Who is Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi?
Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is Princess Beatrice’s husband. The pair tied the knot on 17th July 2020 after getting engaged the year before. In a statement from September 26th 2019, the couple said:
“We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married.”
Edoardo founded real estate firm Banda in 2007. The company specialises in finding and developing homes for wealthy clients.
He is also behind Cricket Builds Hope, an organisation that teaches Rwandans how to play cricket.
Edoardo has a son, Wolfie, from a previous relationship.
Beatrice and Edoardo married in a private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip attended the wedding.
