Cam Gigandet and his wife Dominique Nicole Geisendorff are divorcing after 13 years of marriage, PEOPLE reports.

As reported by the outlet, the Twilight actor’s wife filed for divorce on Monday (August 1st), citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their separation.

Cam rose to fame with his role in Twilight and has since appeared in several other movies, including Burlesque, Bad Johnson and Easy A.

Who is Dominique Geisendorff?

Dominique Geisendorff was born on November 1st, 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

She is one of five siblings of her mother Sue Feldman and father Frederic Geisendorff. Dominique grew up in several places, having lived in Dallas, Texas and Orange County, California.

As an actress, she became known for her leading role as Kahlah in the 2007 film Beneath the Surface. This is the only acting credit listed to her name.

It has been a while since Dominique has appeared on the screen but she made regular appearances with Cam on the red carpet.

The couple stepped out together for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards and attended a U2 concert later in the year, among other events in the same year.

They also attended the 2010 premiere of Burlesque, where Cam starred as Jack alongside Christina Aguilera’s character Ali Rose.

Relationship with Cam Gigandet

Dominique and Cam reportedly met while working in California and got together in November 2006. They tied the knot in 2008 after two years of dating.

Dominique gave birth to their first child at the age 24, a daughter called Everleigh Rae Gigandet, who was born in April 2009.

The pair welcomed their second child, son Rekker Radley Gigandet, in January 2013.

Their third child, daughter named Armie Heartly Gigandet, was born in November 2015.

Cam Gigandet’s career explored

Cam found success with his character James in Twilight (2008) where he starred alongside the likes of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

He then appeared in several well-known projects, including The Experiment, Five Star Day, Priest, Trespass, and others.

One of his most prominent television roles was as the character Roy Rayder in Reckless, where he appeared in 13 episodes in 2014.

Most recently, he starred in the series Ice and his upcoming projects include the 2023 movie Deep Six and Black Warrant which is expected to come out this year.
