Other filming locations
Heavy reports that part of Snowkissed was filmed in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Rodrigo Beilfuss, who plays Simon in the movie, has uploaded an Instagram snap from the location.
According to a Facebook casting call, crew members were looking for actors in late November and early December last year in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
One of the main filming locations in Winnipeg was Pineridge Hollow, as well as the owner’s house and her daughter’s home.
Pineridge Hollow, which features a shop, a restaurant, and a B&B and operates as an event venue, wrote on their website:
“This winter, Pineridge Hollow and the homes of our owner, Jan, as well as her daughter, Katrina became the backdrops for the story of Kate, a New York City journalist who travels to Banff and finds herself mentoring a B&B owner.
“With a full furniture showroom and gift shop at our fingertips, Pineridge Hollow worked alongside the set designers to replicate the feeling of Alberta’s infamous resort town. Pineridge Hollow and the family homes were transformed into everything from a Bed & Breakfast to the Banff Public Market.”
