Actress Helen McCrory has died of cancer at the age of 52, as her husband Damian Lewis announced with a heart-breaking Twitter post.
Harry Potter and Peaky Blinder’s actress, Helen McCrory, died peacefully at home, after “a heroic battle with cancer,” according to her husband and fellow actor, Damian Lewis.
The English actress and her husband were together for almost two decades and they have two children together.

Damian Lewis is a 50-year-old actor, presenter and producer born on February 11th 1971 in St John’s Wood, London.

Helen McCrory’s husband took over Twitter to inform the world that acting has lost a brilliant artist with a heartbreaking post.
“I’m heartbroken to announce that after a heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family,” Damian Lewis revealed.
“She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God, we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you,” Lewis concluded his tribute to his loving wife.
