Cloakzy, real name Dennis Lepore, is a 25 year-old YouTuber and Twitch streamer mostly known for playing Fortnite: Battle Royale.
On YouTube, Cloakzy has over 1.2 million subscribers, and he also boasts a large following on Instagram with 1.5 million followers on his account.
Fans have noticed that Cloakzy has been absent on Twitch and want to know what happened. Luckily, he has offered an explanation for his fans on his Twitter page.
What happened to Cloakzy?
On 14th February, Cloakzy informed his fans on Twitter that he had been a bit “MIA” recently, and explained that it was due to his dog. He tweeted:
“Been MIA for a bit on the stream, dogs been in and out of surgery all night, not doing too hot, one thing after the other.”
Cloakzy’s last absence was back at the end of January, which he explained to fans on the 19th January.
“The second I end my stream I get a call saying my grandpa passed away today, no stream for awhile.”
Cloakzy announces death of his dog
On 17th February, Cloakzy uploaded photographs of his dog, Elka, and announced their death to his fans on Twitter.
Cloakzy tweeted: “Lost one of my best friends to early this morning, cancer sucks. Thanks for everything Elka.”
Tweets of support and condolences from fans flooded in, with many of them sharing pictures of their own pets along with words of wisdom for Cloakzy.
