Heartbreaking Footage: Oladips Rapper’s Life Hangs in the Balance as Mom Refuses to Allow Help

Interestingly, Oladips’ mother intervened, insisting they take him home instead of the hospital.

The well-known Nigerian artist, Oladipupo Oladimeji, better known as Oladips, has successfully grabbed the internet’s attention with some alarming occurrences. 

Late in the evening on November 14, 2023, videos started circulating on social media. These contained images of the ‘Lalakukulala’ singer seemingly collapsed, surrounded by a multitude of alarmed onlookers.

In the video, the music star’s friends gathered around him and screamed with panic as they tried to revive him. See below:

However, before the video of the collapsed rapper started to circulate, he had taken to his Instagram stories to cry out for help.

In the post, Oladips mentioned one of his friends, @onlyonelifetime, and asked where he was. The rapper complained about how he had tried to reach the friend on the phone several times and how they knew he didn’t like to be left alone in the house, especially with his condition. The music star, however, did not explain further.

Prior to this, Oladips had posted a cry for help on his Instagram stories before the video went viral. 

In his emotional post, Oladips tried reaching out to a friend, @onlyonelifetime, expressing his frustration over being left alone considering his current state. The music icon, however, didn’t delve into details. 

He proclaimed his need in his message:

“onlyonelifetime_Please Where Are You? I Done Call Your Number Tire. I Talk Say Make Una No Dey Leave Only Me For This House, I Done Talk This Thing Like A Million Times… Not Even This Period Like This Please Dey Come House Please Tori Olorun.”

 a visibly distressed individual begging for a ride to the hospital.

A friend of Oladips, known as @Onlyonelifetime on Instagram, divulged that the rapper’s mother had prevented them from taking him to the hospital. Allegedly, she insisted her son be taken home instead.
