Una popsy go soon drop – Wizkid ‘threatens’ Davido, Burna Boy, others

Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has ‘threatened’ his musical rivals, Davido, Burna Boy, and other musicians in the country while hinting at the release of a brand new single/project.

Taking to his Instastory, the Starboy honcho warned other artists in the country to beware that he is dropping a material soon.

He referred to himself as their “popsy”, a Nigerian slang for “‘father”.

He wrote, ” Una popsy go soon drop. Soon come.”

Earlier, Wizkid bragged about still making waves despite releasing his most recent work two years ago.

“2 years since my last release and we are still getting to it! Appreciate the love.”

The ‘Essence’ crooner is expected to release his 5th studio album this year. He revealed that the project will be titled ‘More Love, Less Ego’.

He also revealed that it will feature guest artists like Travis Scott, Skepta, Naira Marley, BNXN, and Ayra Starr.
