Uefa Super Cup: Benzema leads Real Madrid to victory against Frankfurt

Real Madrid win the Super Cup for the fifth time, equalling the record of Milan and Barcelona.

They defeated Frankfurt in Helsinki with ease thanks to goals from Karim Benzema and David Alaba.

Frankfurt got off to a strong start, with Kamada missing a great opportunity, but Madrid took control as the half went on. After 37 minutes, David Alaba’s tap-in gave Madrid the lead, and the final score feels about right.

The new offside technology worked flawlessly, and the game was entertaining enough.
