Try Guys are back to releasing new videos after their fourth member, Ned Fulmer left the group. The trio decided to address the elephant in the room, in a literal sense, too.
On September 27, Ned and the members of the Try Guys confirmed he was no longer part of the group and apologized to his fans and his wife after he struck up a consensual workplace relationship.
The Try Guys, which now includes Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld, and Eugene Lee Yang, also confirmed they would carry on without Ned.
TRY GUYS BRING AN ELEPHANT AS A ‘FOURTH MEMBER’
On October 3, a couple of days after the drama unfolded, the remaining Try Guys members sat down and revealed what had happened in a video.
They gave a timeline of the events while asking fans to be patient as they come up with a solution as they had already shot content with Ned for future videos on the channel.
Fans finally got to see what the boys decided to do after they posted their video – The Try Guys Make Pop-Tarts Without A Recipe. In the clip, fans will notice that Ned has been cut from most of the parts, with no scenes having his face or voice in the shot.
However, in the scenes that they couldn’t edit as masterfully, the trio decided to include an animated elephant – who was also placed fourth in the competition. Although, eagle-eyed fans may spot his T-shirt and torso towards the judging part of the video, and later on see two hands peel a banana.
A LOOK AT THE DRAMA
The drama unfolded on TikTok last month as a number of people came across a video that alleged Ned had been romantically involved with someone else other than his wife, Ariel.
Eagle-eyed fans also noticed Ned had not appeared in any of the Try Guys posts or videos since September. People became curious as to what was happening.
While the tea was piping hot, Try Guys decided to spill all the details and confirmed that Ned was no longer part of the group. The trio released the statement on their official Try Guys social accounts.
NED FULMER’S APOLOGY EXPLORED
Shortly after this, Ned also came forward and released an apology on his social media.
Ned wrote: “Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship.
“I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans, but most of all to Ariel.
“The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I am going to focus my attention”.
