The most recent nomination came from the Billboard Music Awards, where it was nominated for Top R&B Song.

Wizkid has now received his eighth Billboard Music Award nomination.

Wizkid was in the news a few days ago after failing to win the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album.

He lost to African music superstar Angelique Kidjo, and in response, he sent Angelique Kidjo and Black Coffee congratulatory notes for their Grammy victory.

Angelique Kidjo won a Grammy for Best Global Music Album, while Black Coffee, a South African DJ, won a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album, making him the first African DJ to win a Grammy.
