Biography of Scott van-der-Sluis
Scott van-der-Sluis is a Welsh former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He was born in Connah’s Quay, Wales and began his career at Manchester United at the age of eight before moving to Liverpool’s academy in 2010, where he spent five seasons with the club.

After leaving Liverpool in 2015, Van-der-Sluis joined Swansea City, where he stayed for four years before leaving the club at the end of his contract in 2019. During this time, he also played for non-league clubs such as Northwich Victoria, Runcorn Linnets, and Merthyr Town.

In 2021, Van-der-Sluis returned to North Wales and signed for Cymru Leagues club Bangor City, where he quickly became club captain. However, after a Football Association of Wales league suspension prevented the club from playing matches, Van-der-Sluis left the club in early 2022.

On June 16, 2022, Van-der-Sluis signed for Shelbourne, a League of Ireland Premier Division club. Although he renewed his contract with the club for the upcoming 2023 season, he left the team without making a league appearance to participate in the tenth series of Love Island, a reality television show

Van-der-Sluis has also represented Wales at various youth levels, including U15, U16, and U17, earning a total of ten caps and winning the Victory Shield in 2015.
