Putin Finally Speaks on Prigozhin’s Death and Wagner Group

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, has spoken out over the passing of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the CEO of the Wagner Group and a former ally. Prigozhin was murdered in a plane crash on Wednesday.
Putin praised him and described the mercenary group’s leader as a talented individual who made grave errors of judgment.
Putin made this statement at a meeting with Denis Pushilin, the leader of the self-declared Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), in the Kremlin.
According to the Russian aviation bureau, Prighozin perished in the plane accident northwest of Moscow along with the other 10 passengers.
He led the Wagner Group, which became well-known for its military successes and ruthless tactics in the Ukrainian War.
