President Muhammadu Buhari is set to remain in the company of his family to observe the Eid-ul-Adha as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Covid-19.
The President entreated all Muslims to stay safe and adhere to the protocols set by the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA and the Presidential Task Force, PTF on COVID-19. He stressed that when a small group of people want to hold the Eid together, they should social distance and use their face masks as usual to avoid any spread.
He wished his fellow Muslims a safe and happy Eid festivity. He will also not be receiving visitors from religious, community, party, and government leaders to greet him because of the Covid-19.
