Passing-Out Parade Date For 2019 Batch B Stream II Corps Members Revealed By NYSC

Plans to hold the 2019 batch B stream II’ passing-out parade (POP) by the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, are underway and it is set to take place on July 16.

However, the event even though will come off will held in a low-key due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement signed and issued by Mrs, Adenike Adeyemi, the Director of Press and Public Relations at NYSC, on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, she revealed that qualified Corps members will receive that National Service Certificates at the Local Government level.

In his words, “Finally, all Corps Members and NYSC stakeholders are advised to stay vigilant, in order to guard against the contraction of COVID-19.

“Therefore, all must ensure strict observance of the safety protocols, predicated on consistent use of face masks, proper washing of hands with soap for at least twenty seconds, use of alcohol-based sanitizer, and observing social/physical distancing,” the statement added.”
