In a heartfelt revelation, the father of late singer Mohbad confirms the receipt of N2 million from internationally recognized music superstar, Davido, intended as a support gesture for the bereaved family. 

Nevertheless, Mohbad’s father clarified that only N1 million was directly received, while the remaining amount was allocated towards the procurement of Mohbad’s coffin and the execution of other necessary burial plans. 

He further acknowledged an additional contribution of N100k from the renowned Kogbagidi. This transparency, however, triggered a wave of skepticism among netizens who are questioning the alleged usage of N1 million for a coffin purchase.

In an engaging video making rounds on various social media platforms, Joseph Aloba, father to the late gifted musician Mohbad, provides insight on the utilization of the N2 million generous donation made by Davido, the esteemed DMW label impresario. Davido.

Further revelations shared by Mohbad’s bereaved father posited that he was in receipt of half the amount – N1 million out of the large-hearted donation made by the benevolent Davido.

Aloba, one of the associates connected with the situation, provided significant insight on how the funds donated by Davido were utilized. He revealed that a friend of Mohbad, known as Da Rocha, allocated a major portion of the donation, amounting to 1 million naira, towards procuring a coffin and coordinating burial-related activities. 

In addition to Davido’s generous donation, Aloba also disclosed that prominent show promoter Kogbagidi extended further support by contributing N100k to the cause.
