Michael Knighton preparing bid to buy Man Utd from Glazer family

Michael Knighton, a former director of Manchester United, has said he is putting together a bid to buy the team.

The Glazer family has owned United since 2005, and since taking over, they have come under heavy fire from fans for the way they have managed the team.

While protests have come and gone over the years, pressure is now building once more as a result of the club’s failure to fully support Erik ten Hag as his replacement in the transfer market and implement the necessary changes for it to once again dominate the football world.

Knighton has come forward to say that he has a group prepared to make a “hostile bid” to purchase the club from the current owners as a result of growing pressure on the Glazer family to sell the establishment.
