People are surprised and shocked that Balenciaga is selling a $1,790 trash bag but that has also resulted in some hilarious garbage memes.

Twitter has been left speechless ever since it was confirmed that Balenciaga will be selling trash bags and it does not come as a surprise that users were quick to express their thoughts on Twitter.

In fact, the brand’s creative director, Demna Gvasalia, has also shared her thoughts on this.

Balenciaga teases $1,790 trash bag

Balenciaga is not hesitating to get the world talking as the brand confirmed it was going to sell the “trash pouch” for over $1k. In fact, the bags have already made their debut at the fashion show and has people shocked.

To add to this, they come in four different colorways: black, white and red, blue and black, or yellow and black. Speaking to WWD, Demna said: “I couldn’t miss an opportunity to make the most expensive trash bag in the world, because who doesn’t love a fashion scandal?”

While the brand loves the idea of the bag, people are not too happy about it.

The brand had introduced dirty sneakers

This is not the first time the brand has introduced something that has got the whole world talking. A couple of months ago, Balenciaga introduced dirty sneakers.

At first glance, it would be hard to understand how one could wear those shoes. However, the brand noted that it was a limited edition shoe with only 100 of them in stock. It was selling for $1800.
