Lady Shares Interesting Story of How Davido Bought Car for Random Cabman Who Picked Him Up, Singer Confirms It

An Instagram story by Sherifah Adeshola describes an interaction she had in a taxi with a strange man.

The woman described how the cab driver and she got into a discussion about Davido’s song, which she said was one of her favorites.

This car was purchased by Davido, who the cab driver picked up on a disastrous night.

“The cabman said this motto na @davido buy am for me o, he said ‘I pick am one night even though he wear mask I still know say na him and I tell am that night say he must bless me o’ and he bought me a car because the one I dey use that time, no be me get am.”

Davido himself remembered the incident and confirmed the story and commented:

“Actually remember this.”
