John Obi Mikel in tears after receiving thousands of racial abuses

John Obi Mikel broke down in tears while answering questions from the press about the racial abuses reigned on himself and his family
Trabzonspor defeated Fenerbache 2-1 in a Turkish Super Lig match and fans verbally attacked the midfielder, mother of his children Olga Diyachenko and his four-year-old twin daughters.
In an emotional interview, the former Chelsea star confirmed thousands of messages were sent to him personally and his partner with threats to his daughters.
Mikel told Turkish TV: “A lot has been said about this – the issue of racism but since I’ve been here, my team and colleagues at Trabzonspor have been very nice to me, there’s not been any issue.”
“I started getting very scary messages on social media, even my girlfriend got messages of racism and hatred. There’s no place for this.
“This should be happening and I think the people behind this should be disciplined. They shouldn’t be allowed to come to games.
“I’m disappointed with people involving my girlfriend and my kids. Why do they have to talk about my kids?
“I am very sad, it’s a very disturbing time for me.”
