Jeanette Boahemaa Kwakye(pronounced “kwah-chee,”) was born on March 20, 1983, and is a retired British sprinter.
At the 2002 World Junior Championships, Kwakye and teammates Jade Lucas-Read, Amy Spencer, and Vernicha James took home the bronze medal in the 4×100-meter relay.
In the 60 meters at the 2007 European Indoor Championships, she came in fourth.
She ran the fastest 60-meter time by a British woman since 1986 in the semi-final, clocking it at 7.17 seconds.
