Penthauze signee, Akinbi Bamidele Brett, better known as SuperBoy Cheque, has said he wished for his song ‘Dangerous’ to be as big as Wizkid‘s hit record ‘Essence’.
The ‘Zoom’ crooner who disclosed this on his social media page on Wednesday, also said he doesn’t mind the song being bigger than ‘Essence’ which was widely adjudged “song of the summer” in 2021.
The 27-year-old released ‘Dangerous’ which featured raving Marvin female singer, Ayra Starr in his 2021 EP ‘Bravo’.
However, the song did not receive much reception among fans as expected, compared to his previous hits; ‘Zoom’ and ‘History’ which he performed with Fireboy.
Now, the rapper said he wished for it to be as big as Wizkid and Tems‘ ‘Essence’.
“I wish Dangerous be as big as Wizkid Essence or bigger,” he tweeted.
