Monalisa Stephen, a Nollywood actress, has spoken out about his Tinnitus battle. Tinnitus is a condition that causes a ringing in the ears, but it can also sound like roaring, clicking, hissing, or buzzing.

'I Cry Sometimes,' says actress Monalisa Stephen about her battle with a disease.

Monalisa Stephen expressed her frustration with living with the disease on her Instagram story, saying she needs to work twice as hard not to focus on it.

She claims that she sometimes just cries and wishes it would go away, but it does not. She made it plain, however, that she did not share her story to gain sympathy, but rather to help those who are struggling realize they are not alone.

One user, @amarachiflora, reacted to this by saying:

‘I have it as well, it started when I was a child, and there is no cure. I’ve tried everything, but doctors said it would go away on its own, but it still exists.’

‘I can’t believe my eyes,’ simihowels wrote.

Some people advise her to stop clubbing and live a morally reprehensible lifestyle…

What does it have to do with what she said, abeg? Aahhhh!! ‘Illiteracy is the root of all stupidity.’

‘May God heal you sweetie,’ wrote gatsegwase. I have a buddy who is going through something similar, and I never stop praying for him. Worst of all, there is no treatment for it. May God provide for you as you go through this.’
