Finally, the 2022 VMAs have arrived, and the star-studded affair promises to be very entertaining. But what time does the red carpet begin?

What time does the 2022 VMAs red carpet start?
The red carpet event will start an hour and a half before the main event, that is, at 6:15 pm ET while the main event will start taking place from 8 pm ET.
For those who have been following the events for years, you would be aware that the VMAs red carpet is not the one you would want to miss. Stars are seen walking in with the most eye-catching looks and most of them definitely leave people speechless.
At the same time, the red carpet event also allows the celebrities to have a bit of a chat with the reporters before heading inside for the event. That being said, who knows what beans will be spilled in this year’s event?
How to watch the event
There are several options through which you will be able to enjoy this event. To begin with, you can watch the entire show on MTV and MTV2, BET, Comedy Central, VH1, Logo, Nickelodeon, the CW, Paramount Network, CMT, Pop, or TV Land.

Can you still vote for the event?
Unfortunately, the voting for the event ended on August 19. Fans will just have to watch the show to know if their favorite artists won or not.
This year, the show is being held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and will be hosted by LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj, and Jack Harlow. Meanwhile, performances from BLACKPINK, Lizzo, Bad Bunny, and others is scheduled.
