Governor OAbiodun makes urgent revelation on the death of top Nigerian footballer killed by SARS operative

Ogun state Governor Dapo Abiodun has made it clear that the culprits behind the shocking and untimely death of former Remo Stars footballer Tiamiyu Kazeem will be brought to book.
The number one citizen in Ogun state also confirmed on his official social media account that the perpetrator behind the death of the footballer has been arrested in which justice must be done.
On Saturday, February 22, the entire football fraternities in Nigeria were thrown into mourning when the shocking death of Tiamiyu Kazeem was announced.
He had an encounter with some of the anti robbery squad (SARS) who are responsible for his untimely death.
On this faithful day, Tiamiyu Kazeem went out with one of his teammates at Remo Stars before they were stopped by some members of the SARS officers.
They identified themselves as players playing for Nigerian Professional Football League side Remo Stars, but one of the officers refused to believe their submission.
He attacked the players verbally claiming that they are internet fraudsters and they will be dealt with.
Tiamiyu Kazeem and his other friend were then ordered by the SARS officers to follow them to the station for more questioning which they obeyed.
But surprisingly, the SARS men directed the vehicle to another road which got the players confused and asked where they were heading to.
According to the other player named Samson, he confirmed that Kazeem was pushed down out of annoyance by one of the police officers due to his continuous questions on where they were being taken to.
A moving vehicle coming from behind with high speed however stepped on Tiamiyu Kazeem and he died on the spot.
Samson however managed to escape from the SARS vehicle before he narrated what really happened to his other teammates, club officials and some journalists.
Until his shocking death, Tiamiyu Kazeem was preparing to travel abroad where owner of Remo Stars Kunle Soname is said to have gotten him an impressive deal.
Meanwhile, Tiamiyu Kazeem will now be the second player ever to have lost his life in the hands of the SARS following the demise of former 3SC star Izu Joseph who was shot in October 2016 in Okaki, Rivers state.
