Good heart no dey work for Nigeria – Singer Davido says on Twitter
Nigerian music star David Adeleke popularly known as Davido recently shared a piece of information with members of the internet community.
The music star who is very much loved for his kindheartedness and dedication to helping people that are in need, noted that having a good heart does not work in Nigeria.
Davido’s tweet comes as a surprise as the singer is well known for his popular mantra ‘we rise by lifting reach other’, which appears to be a personal guide for helping him add his effort to making the world a better place.
“Good heart no dey work for Naija,” the Blow My Mind crooner tweeted.
The tweet had got some of his followers wondering what was going on. A follower identified as FabolousFablez noted that having a good heart only works when people offer help without expecting anything in return.
“It works only wen u do it and expect nothing in return..it works only wen u do it wen camera is not watching. It work only wen you do it without letting do world know. Who we are when camera is not watching is what count. Do good from your heart not for media,” the tweet read.
Another follower urged Davido to continue doing good to others and expect his reward from the alright.
