Former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has asserted that President Muhammadu Buhari enjoyed life better in Jonathan’s regime than in his current administration.
Omokri made the claim while reacting to the present economic hardship and insecurity in the country via social media platform, Twitter, on Friday.
He noted that Buhari could at least, go to Kaduna and his home state, Katsina during Jonathan’s tenure, but now under his administration, terrorists have threatened to abduct him if he tries it.
He wrote; “Even Buhari enjoyed life better under Jonathan. At least,he could go to Kaduna and Katsina. Now, bandits have promised to kidnap him if he tries it. Who knows the agreement he reached with them in 2015 and has broken, which is making them turn Nigeria to a war zone!”
Recall that bandits weeks ago threatened to kidnap President Muhammadu Buhari, and Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
Minister of information, Lai Mohammed described the threat as “laughable.”
