Eden Palmer cause of death: San Francisco mother Eden Palmer has died in a car accident in Woodside while she was driving her younger son to a soccer match.
According to the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office, the person who died during a collision in Woodside last Saturday has been identified as 54-year-old Eden Palmer.

According to a GoFundMe page, Eden was driving her younger son to a soccer match when a wrong-way driver allegedly crashed into their car.
SFGATE reports that the driver in the other vehicle, 24-year-old Constellatia Martin, allegedly drove on the opposite side of Interstate 280’s southbound lane and collided with Eden’s vehicle.
The collision happened around 2:30 pm local time on Saturday and Eden was with her 14-year-old son and family dog in the vehicle. Eden and the dog were both pronounced dead.
The other driver and Eden’s son have been taken to Stanford Medical Hospital, where they are being treated for major injuries.
GoFundMe page created to support Eden’s family
A GoFundMe page was created and shared on social media to raise funds and support Eden’s family after her tragic loss.
“Eden was a beloved wife, mother, friend, community volunteer, and force for anyone who ever needed anything,” Sue Kalache, who organized the fundraiser, wrote in the description. “It’s time for us to honor Eden and rally around her family as they need our support.”
The fundraising campaign explains that Eden’s older son has dreams of attending college and part of the donations will be used to fulfill his future goals.
The GoFundMe campaign has raised just over $50,000 of its $100,000 goal from 268 donations at the time of writing this.
Tributes paid to Eden
Tributes have poured in for Eden on Facebook and other social media platforms after the heartbreaking news of her passing.
One person wrote in a tribute: “My sincere Condolences to her family and all who loved her.”
“Sending prayers and condolences to the family,” another one said.
A third added: “My heart breaks for this persons family. RIL and lots of prayers for your family.”
